Ellington Middle School Winter Sports Registration is Now Open!

Registration is available through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal: Sports Registration Link.

Please carefully follow the Sports Registration Directions

This Winter we are offering both Girls and Boys Basketball, as well as cheerleading. Please see the tryout information below with a special note about cheerleading.

Girls Basketball

Tryout 1 - November 24th at 2:30pm

Tryout 2 - November 25th at 4:00pm

Final Tryout (for those invited back) - December 1st at 2:30pm

Boys Basketball

Head Coach: Larry Anderson (landerson@ellingtonschools.net)

Grade 7 Tryout - November 24th at 4:00pm

Grade 8 Tryout - November 25th at 2:30pm

Final Tryout (for those invited back) - December 1st at 4:00pm

Cheerleading

Head Coach: TBD

We are actively looking for a cheerleading head coach. We will publish a cheerleading schedule and tryout information separately once a head coach is hired for the 25-26 season.

Important - Valid Physical Required

All registrations must be completed before the start of tryouts, and a valid physical must be on

file with the school nurse. Physicals can be emailed directly to: Samantha Kelvey, Middle School

Nurse (skelvey@ellingtonschools.net) . Students without a valid physical on file will not be allowed to tryout. If you are unsure about the status of your child’s physical, you can check the status through Infinite Campus by following the steps below.

2. Select "More" on the left-hand side

3. Select "Sports Physical Data"

Q: Will I receive a confirmation after signing up?

A: Yes. Once you’ve registered and paid, you will receive a confirmation email from Infinite

Campus.

Q: Does everyone make the team?

A: No. All of our winter sports options require a tryout to be on the team.

Q: Is full payment required in order to tryout?

A: Yes, payment is required to complete the registration process.

Q: Will I be reimbursed for the registration fee if my child does not make the team?

A: Yes, you can expect reimbursement up to two weeks after the final tryout date.
